John settled on a farm near Mill Rift, PA. Not much else is known about John or his wife. When son Wilbur left home, he [Wilbur] acquired 31 acres near Mill Rift which was on a high hill in the woods, with a gorgeous view. On this acreage, he built a beautiful home. In 1942, it was acquired by Bert and Lucy SAWYER.

I assume that these are the John W. of this page, his brother Moses and their brother James' father-in-law Major John NEARPASS. If so, not sure if John W.'s move to Cayuga Co., NY was before or after his settling near Mill Rift, PA.
