    Jonathan and Phebe were m. 8 July 1725. She was dau. of John PLATT (any relation to Hannah?). The PLATT GEDCOM refers to CP, p. 270, CES (Doc. 14), pp. 135-136. CES says he m2. Hannah PLATT, but without further identification. Who was she? CES goes on to say, "He settled in Newtown, CT on Walnut Hill. His will dated April 16, 1773, probated Sept. 1, 1788, mentions wife Phoebe, children Jonas, Jonathan, Solomon, Phoebe CASTLE, Olive BOOTH, Mary STURDIVANT, and granddaughter Mabel HULBERT. It would seem that the will was made prior to the death of his first wife." CES says that he had 2 children by 1st wife, and 6 by 2nd, but 3rd child was b. in 1729, so it would seem strange that the will was not dated until 1773.
