    Ybe married Mencke in 1694 (between May and August). Ybe was a farmer at Jousterp near Tjerkwerd.

    Ybe made profession of faith in the Hervormde Kerk 25 August 1695 (he was 25 years old). 5 Oct 1709, Ybe became legal guardian over Bauke and Tetje Ages, children of Age Bauckes. Ybe died in 1718 and his widow Mencke Claeses remarried with Ybe's brother Durcks. The marriage was March 27, 1718.

    Ybe's first son Joucke married Jan 13 1723 with Feikje Sijmens and he was a "huisman" (farmer without a farm) in Bolsward. In 1753 he became a legal guardian over the children of Murk Hanses. Five children were born to Joucke and Feikje:

    Joucke Ybes b1699 was m. 1-13-1723 to Feikje SIJMENS, he was a huisman (farm helper?) at Bolsward. In 1753 he was curator [caretaker] of the kids of wijlen [relative?] Murk HANSES. Kids of Joucke/Feikje were Klaaske b. 4-1-1725; Ybe date? who m. Trijntje DOUWES 'en woonde te Hijdaard' [at the town of Hijdaard?]; Sijmen b. 11-4-1732 Bolsward; Acke b. 6-1-1735 Bolsward and Klaas b. 7-19-1737 Bolsward.
