Unproven, I think, but here goes; John & Agnes married in Lincolnshire, England, 1605. John born 1582, Agnes born 1583 in Leverton, England. John died 1660 in Gainsborough, England. Agnes died 1635 in Holton Cum. England. John`s Father, Thomas, supposedly born 1556, married in 1580, died in Norfolk, England. wife listed.

    Thank You Bert,

Yes, I have the "Unproven" record that states William Parents were John & Agnes (Stone) Sawyer (record from Ancestry, com), but I also have a record that I copied Newburyport, stating "Bank says William Sawyer came from Leighton Bizzard, Bedfordshire County. So, I am writing in the Names of the "parents & grand parents" of William as unproved. I sure hope that this does get proven, one way or the other. If I am correct, the English way of naming, was the first son was named after the "wife's father" (?) At this time I have three different records stating a different name of Williams wife, Ruth Bitfield father! Its a fun game digging, isn't it.
