    His will was dated 30 Jan 1796 and Proved in Lancaster Co., PA, 29 Jul 1796. He gave the Society of Seventh Day Adventists 25 pounds to be used to hold love feasts. This seems to link him more than the other BOLLINGERs to the Ephrata Cloister, a monastic community near Lancaster. Letter from Ephrata Cloister historian, 1 Feb 1994, confirms his membership in the Ephrata Cloister, along with his wife Elizabeth, as householders.
