From BOLLINGER book:
Benjamin was apparently born in OH(?) He began this record (of his father's descendants) in 1860. He married Anna and lived in OH with his family until Anna died. He and Leah (CHISNELL or CHESNELL) were married (in OH?) in 1855. They moved from OH to the vicinity of Lansing, MI. He later moved to IN, where some of his descendants still lived as of 1951.
From BROKAW book:
In 1882, the family moved from Akron, OH to Carson, MI because of a split between members of the Dunkard Church, of which they were members.
COX GED indicates Benjamin was b. 18 Jul 1818 and m. Anna ?, who was b. Jan 1820. Only 1 son, Isaac, is shown, b. Jan 1841.
* Benjamin's death date came from genealogy website familytreemaker.genealogy.com/users/b/o/l/John-M-Bollinger-OH/WEBSITE-0001/UHP-0035.html. It also said Ben appears to have been the first of the family to go to MI, arriving at Carson City, MI in the early 1860s.
See CHISNELL for more info on Leah.
