NIJS, NYS[SEN], DENYSE Family

The earliest known ancestor on this line was Nysen DENYSE b. c1550s. The name in Dutch means 'near' or 'new' (or 'the near/new' i.e. De Nyse). I'd like to tie this line in with other branches of NIJS.

Note: On the Brokaw line, Bourgon's son Jan (John) bap. 14 Nov 1680 at Flatbush, Long Island, NY, d1740 60yo m. Sarah Teunis van MIDDLESWARD. I wonder if there's a connection to the van MIDDLESWARD family mentioned below?
