    The house in which Major WOOD (and presumably Hannah as a girl) lived is yet standing (as of 1971) though much altered, at the foot of the hill north of the railway station at Goshen, NY.

    Hannah and Benjamin were married in 1789 in Goshen?, NY. They resided at Carpenter's Point, NY (near present-day Port Jervis) on the Delaware River. They conducted the hospitable inn and conveyed the travelling public across the Delaware River by means of a ferry.
