    From the COX GED:
Daniel and Elizabeth were married 20 Mar 1832 at Stark Co., OH. Except for a son, Daniel, these were the family members noted in the 1850 U.S. Census of Stark Co. Other household members were Elizabeth BROWN (probably Daniel's mother-in-law) and Elizabeth ROOFNER, both age 66. For some reason, Elizabeth BROWN was not listed with her husband in the 1870 Census.

Four of Daniel's sons were Brethren ministers! Gideon served at Black River Church, near Medina, OH, in 1870 and at Centerview Brethren Church, Johnson Co., MO, 1882. He is listed in the Brethren Almanac in 1881, p. 27; GM (1884), p. 550. Benjamin B. served at Shipshewana, IN in 1872 and at White Pigeon, MI in 1881. Daniel died at son Benjamin's home. Wife "Betsy BOYER" is mentioned in Stark Co. marriage records. Married by Jacob SNYDER, justice of the peace. SNYDER may have been Benjamin's brother in law (husband of Mollie BOLLINGER SNYDER). Rudolph served at Sugar Creek, IN. He is listed in the Brethren Almanac (1900), p. 35. GM (1910), p. 142. Finally, Daniel's son Daniel also served at Shipshewana, IN (1898) and Fruitland, ID (1914). He is listed in the Brethren Almanac 1898-1917, Yearbook, 1918-1934.

    From BOLLINGER book:
Daniel's brother Benjamin left OH for Lansing, MI area (Carson) after marrying his second wife Leah CHISNELL in 1855.

    From BROKAW book:
In 1882, Daniel's brother Benjamin moved from Akron, OH to Carson, MI because of a split between members of the Dunkard Church, of which they were members. Apparently Daniel and family stayed with the OH faction.
